With 1872 perf 14 issues, including scarce SG 17 4 ore grey (c. £170), 1877-9 perf 13 issues and 1886-91 numerals with posthorn on the reverse. Balance collection of mint and used stamps on Hagner type stock pages, with catalogue value generally below £20 per stamp or set. Stamps from 1874 to 1903 are in the main fine used with odd mint stamps, and from 1910 are mainly mint, latterly UM. Strength is in the period from 1939 to 1979 although some issues are missing, and others missing the odd stamp. There are a handful of stamps adhered to the stockpages which aren't included in the estimate. The collection consists of approx 1350 stamps, 5 MS, 1 sheetlet, 32 booklets, some colour trials and booklet panes with combined cat value c£2700.
