QV 1841 1d. Red-Brown plate 10 (Die I, wmk small crown imperforate) lettered H-A, fine used large margins example socked on the nose by full oblique red maltese cross. PTS 2015 Expert Committee Photo-Certificate harshly states is genuine, soiled, in our opinion - slightly. In fact the 'bluish' image of the stamp shows through to the reverse. Used 1d. Reds cancelled by red maltese cross are rare. SG Concise CV £2,250=. Socked on the nose (SON) with large margins is exceptionall RARE. PTS Certificate 2015
