Well-centred fractionally S. a SUPERB example with original colour, full perforation and unmounted mint never hinged original gum. Previously supplied by SG for £3,750=. KEVII 1902 1d. Colour Trial printed in black on red. Very fine unused mint fresh original gum IMPERFORATE part marginal 'jubilee line' example upon original Stanley Gibbons retail card priced £1,500= (Catalogued then £1,500=, now catalogued SG Specialised catalogue from £1,750=. Further well-descibed by SG as printed in black upon red gummed Crown watermark paper. Made from a specially prepared plate of 20 electros. In our opinion very scarce/rare. Reverse neat original 1st hinge remnant, fresh large part o.g. Fabulous fresh appearance in 'wrong' colour. 'Unissued' colour proofs are like buried treasure. Exhibition Standard (1v. + SG retail card).
