PUC £1, superb unmounted mint, full original gum example ovptd 'SPECIMEN' type 32 in red. Accompanied by the original SG retail card, showing the selling price then as £2,700 although currently (Aug 2026) showing in SG Concise Catalogue as £3,000 for mint hinged. However this example is superb unmounted mint never hinged; We concur with the SG retail card which states 'very scarce so fine' that it is, in fact, RARE in this condition, Spec NCom9s. Typically unmounted mint this period commands up to 50% catalogue value premium. A rare stamp
