1884 Watermark Anchor 10s. COBALT Overprinted SPECIMEN type 9. Simply SUPERB unmounted mint full original gum never hinged example. (currently catalogued £3,400= in mint hinged condition - a 100% premium never hinged condition example). Perfect colour, near perfect centring lettered M-F. An inredibly rare stamp in this condition, and virtually the only practical way to acquire this otherwise £35,000= catalogue value major GB rarity were it without the SPECIMEN overprint. 142 year-old stamp in printed yesterday Post Office fresh 'over the Post Office counter original gum unmounted mint never hinged and Simply SUPERB.
