An excellent collection of Antwerp pre stamp covers to various destinations. Well presented on leaves with extensive annotation. To various destinations including Paris, London, Amsterdam, Brussels and Marseille. Includes a series of letters to Marseilles 1854-55 with various cachets and receiving marks.
Also an interesting letter from the justice dept to court of appeal together with subsequent research articles from ' Belgapost' stating some forged receiving marks. About 30 covers, generally fine.

PRE STAMP
Interesting collection of pre stamp covers on leaves, mainly French period, most relating to Antwerp. Including interesting commercial correspondence, with Anvers post or receiving marks. With 1794 letter relating to shipment of wine to Bordeaux and the closure of the St Quentin canal. Also a 1798 letter to Ministry of Justics in Paris, French period covers following the invasion of 1794, 1813 document and letter from the Mayor of Antwerp, 1828 letter to Baron Wesel and others (over 30 covers)
