Great Britain - QV (line engraved)

QV 1841 1d. Red-brown plated PL.113. Absolutely superb mint full original gum lower marginal position horizontal pair letters T-H, T-I. Rarely encountered in this quality. Superb colour, upon very deep blued paper (Concise catalogue £500 x 2). However a bottom sheet margin inscriptional pair inscribed 'Hand Side of the Letter. In Wettin'. Premium piece accompanied by SG retail card priced £1,750=. In terms of rarity and Exhibition Standard … certainly worth 100% uplift upon the Concise £1,000 catalogue value. Magnificent. Irreplaceable (1 pr. Gibbons card)
